Joy was born in Georgia but has lived in Mississippi and New York before moving to Pennsylvania to attend Philadelphia Biblical University. Being raised in the church, she asked Jesus to be her Savior at the age of 7 but then rededicated her life at age 15.
In 2002, she met her husband, Tom, and they married in 2004. Joy graduated from Liberty University in 2006 with a Bachelor's in Business Finance and Bible. Tom grew up in Myerstown Baptist Church and they returned to MBC in 2008. Joy became Treasurer in late 2008 and then joined the staff as Secretary in 2009. She is involved in teaching children's Sunday School, singing and playing piano for the Worship Band, and helping with the New Movers and Website ministries.
Tom and Joy have three daughters, Selah, Kalyn, and Leena.
Jim was born and raised in northern Pennsylvania and was privileged to have been raised in a Christian home. In July of 1966 Jim trusted Christ as his Savior at Montrose Bible Conference. At the age of 17 he fully committed himself to the Lord’s service.
After graduating from Cameron County high School he enrolled for the fall semester at Liberty University (1973). The four years he attended Liberty University were instrumental in preparing him to be a full-time Pastor. Through the years Jim has served in various ministries (Interim Pastor, Youth Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, School Teacher, and bus worker).
The Lord called Jim to MBC in January of 1996. He considers it a privilege to serve the Lord and the people of MBC. Jim has been married to his wife, Sue, since 1977 and they have four children.
Khyle was blessed to grow up in a Christian family in Lancaster County. As a result of his parent's influence and their home churches ministry he became a disciple of Jesus Christ at a young age.
After graduating from high school Khyle committed himself to full time ministry and began attending Lancaster Bible College studying youth ministry. He graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Bible Ministry. It was while at LBC that Khyle met his wife Danna. Danna shares Khyle's passion for youth and children's ministry as well as a burden for women's ministry. Khyle and Danna were married in 2006, have three sons, Samuel, Micah, and Ezra, and a daughter, Riley.
Khyle began serving in January 2010 at MBC as the Youth and Children's Pastor. He is excited about what God can do in and through the people of MBC.
Danna went to Lancaster Bible College, and has her Bachelor's degree in Bible Ministry. She decided to follow Jesus as a teenager and loves working alongside her husband in ministry.
Jim was born and raised in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. He was raised with a strong Christian influence and accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 14. At a young age Jim began helping out in various activities such as Vacation Bible School and Sunday School. That tradition continues today as Jim is the teacher of the Young Adults / College and Career Class.
The second best event in Jim's life (after his salvation) was meeting and marrying his wife, Donna. They were married in 1982 and are the proud parents of 3 children. Donna is the church organist. Both Jim and Donna sing on the church Praise Team. They both have a passion for Christ with a specific emphasis on families.
Bucky was saved when he was 14 years old but didn't do much for the Lord until he was 21 and married.
Together with his wife, Dottie, they attended Lindale Baptist Church, teaching the 7th and 8th grade kids and led youth at the church. They relocated to another section of Cincinnati and joined Tri-County Baptist Church where Bucky was one of the adult Sunday School teachers and also served as a deacon. Dot also taught the teen girls. Together they served there with Pastor Lew Davis for 38 years until they moved to Myerstown in 2008.
At MBC, Dot teaches the 3rd-5th graders and together they lead a small group. Currently, Bucky serves as a deacon which he consideres to be a great privilege and blessing. God is blessing Myerstown Baptist Church and they are excited about what He has in store for MBC in the future.

While attending the Rio Rancho Community Christian Church in NM, Mark re-dedicated his life to the Lord. Since then, he has served in many capacities in churches in New Mexico, Virginia, Germany and Hawaii. Upon retiring from the Air Force, Mark and Lori moved to Lebanon County and joined MBC in 2014.

Justin was born and raised in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He was fortunate to have loving grandparents who provided the opportunity for him to attend a Christian school. It was while in elementary school, Justin’s grandfather lead him to Christ. His grandfather’s consistent walk with the Lord, left a lasting impression on Justin’s life and it is what Justin strives for today.
In 2004, Justin met his future wife, Nicole, and in June 2007, they were married. They joined MBC in 2005 and were baptized together. Justin and Nicole are excited about what the Lord is doing in their lives and at Myerstown Baptist Church. Justin serves on the A/V team, New Movers Evangelism, Trustee, VBS, and EPIC Kids program.
Mike grew up in Central PA and is married to his wife, Jocelyn, who is also from the area. They have 5 children (Michael, Ethan, Ryan, Alyssa, and Emma).
Mike knew Jocelyn when they were in grade school, however they didn’t formally get together until after Jocelyn graduated from college. It was only a few days after the two of them ran into each other again, that Jocelyn asked Mike a question that would change the course of his life forever. She asked him “Why do you go to church?” Mike didn’t have a good answer to the question, so Jocelyn shared the Romans Road with him. It was just a short while later that Mike accepted Christ as his savior in a Sunday school class and less than 10 months after that, they were married.
Mike and Jocelyn have served in the community over the years in many capacities, including coaching their kids, volunteering in various school functions, as well as serving here at Myerstown Baptist Church. Mike has been a Deacon since 2015, and Jocelyn is involved in various ministries, including the biweekly free lunch where they serve between 50 to 100 people from the community.
Mike also serves on the board of On-Fire Youth Ministries, located in Myerstown. His passion for serving comes from his early life experiences, and the people that stepped in to guide him when he needed it most.
